Start of the process
1-hour intake to start the journey and create total cost estimation.
The base for our collaboration is trust. You have decided to split up as partners, now you have to decide if you want to partner with RED mediation to make your divorcement as hassle-free as possible. This is why the first hour of our intake only costs €60 euros including VAT. Don’t feel a click? Then perhaps it’s best not to move forward. If you do decide to move forward naturally the charge will be deducted from the next invoice.
Do you feel like there’s a lot to be gained (which usually is the case), then let’s get started. And by getting started, we don’t mean kicking in top gear with setting all the details in stone. We are mediators, not accountants. Take a breath and let’s start at the beginning. Let us handle the paperwork.
Hourly rate
Our hourly rate is 180 euros, including VAT. By working with an hourly rate, you never pay for more than what you actually need. We keep track of the hours and our expenses (such as for the court or travel costs when exceeding 10 KM, court fees and so on…) to make the whole process as transparent as we can. You always have access to an up-to-date timesheet.
Subsidized legal aid
For people with a lower income and not a lot of savings, there is the possibility to get financial aid from the government. We are registered at the Raad voor Rechtsbijstand and can request financial aid on your behalf. So you can stay focussed on dealing with the big changes in your life. We make sure you get financial assistance when applicable.
We will plan with you throughout the process, also in terms of cost.
